The party made the position during a Press Conference attended by the three elected senators of the party, six elected members of House of Representatives and party executives in Yola yesterday.
The acting chairman of the party Alhaji Yamusa Shuaibu while eulogizing the people asked them for more support for the party in the forth coming gubernatorial and house of assembly elections in the state.
He promised the citizenry a better deal as he said the party will make judicious use of the resources to transform the lives of the people. Secretary of the party Abdullahi Bakari during his submission introduced the 3 senators elect and 6 House of Representatives elect adding that with such massive support, the members will synergize with the government in power to bring rapid development to the state. In their various submissions, the senators and House of Representatives elect, pledge to work in tandem with the manifesto of the party to bring rapid development to the state.
They called on the people to repeat the gesture accorded to the party in the coming gubernatorial and house of assembly election in order to consolidate its stance in the polity.
‘It is disingenuous to accuse everyone who calls for restructuring as trying to break up the county. History tells us that that kind of cheap blackmail will not work as long as the underlying reasons for the agitations persist.’
