Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho says they deserve to win the title after his team pull off a dramatic win to stun QPR.
Cesc Fabregas scored his third league goal of the season in the 88th minutes after QPR keeper, Rob Green made a mistake. Chelsea defeat QPR 1-0. They won the match even without top striker Diego Costa and his back up Loic Remy due to injury. Chelsea has been on top since the season started and Jose Mourinho believes they deserve the title.
According to him, ‘what I know is it’s not normal for a team to be on top of the league since day one, since August, every game, top of the league. ‘That’s the team that deserves all the credit. ‘Good run? Other teams with good runs. We had a good run since day one. Nobody should be disappointed. A good run since August. I think we deserve it.’
Chelsea with 73 points is seven points ahead of second place team Arsenal with 66 points.
‘It is disingenuous to accuse everyone who calls for restructuring as trying to break up the county. History tells us that that kind of cheap blackmail will not work as long as the underlying reasons for the agitations persist.’
‘The biggest challenge seems to be that we seem to be allowing moderate voices on this issue to be drowned out by the reckless utterances of a few rabble rousers on all sides who may be tools in the hands of those who do not wish this country well. These are some of the people who arrogate to themselves the toga of spokespersons of our diverse groups.’
