R&B musical icon, Bobby Brown who is speaking after a long while since the daughter Kristina Bobbi was rushed unconscious to hospital has said, ‘ I’m giving it to God and letting him deal with it. The 46 year old Bobby has been by the daughter bedside since she was found face down in a bar tub says he appreciates the support of the people.
During his performance where he played some of his old tunes stopped to thank the crowd. He said ‘I must tell you all, this feels really, really good. ‘I want to thank you all for coming tonight and supporting me and my family.
‘Rough times are rough times, and hard times are hard times. ‘I don’t know what the hell I’m going through right now but I’m giving it to God and letting him deal with it. He said this as he performed at the Soul Food Festival in Los Angeles where he asked the fans to have fun and enjoy themselves.
Kristina Brown was recently moved to the DeKalb Medical Centre in Atlanta where doctors have reportedly told Bobby that her chances of survival are decreasing on a daily basis.
Kristina’s grandmother Cissy Houston had earlier called for prayers for her granddaughter. According to her, ‘We’ve moved her to a place for rehabilitation. ‘And you know, still not a great deal of hope. Still praying. I give it to God, one time, because I know he’s able. ‘And I cannot change a thing. I am asking everybody, just pray to the lord who we know can do something about it.’
“To fear the world US has led for the better part of a century, abandon the ideals we have advanced around the globe and refuse the obligations of international leadership… for the sake of some half-baked, spurious nationalism cooked up by people who would rather find scapegoats than solving problems is unpatriotic. “
