The Minister of Women Affairs, Aisha Alhassan, on Monday, visited President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Alhassan came to the Villa at the same time when Governor Jubrila Bindow of Adamawa State was also at the State House to see President Buhari.
The minister, who is also known as Mama Taraba, had sometime ago declared her support for former Vice President Alhaji Atiku Abubakar should he decides to vie for the presidential election come 2019.
Her action generated different reactions as some members of the All Progressive Congress (APC) called for her immediately resignation.
However, since her open support for Atiku, the minister has continued to perform her duty as a cabinet member in the Buhari government without any threat of sack.
Alhassan,, who came out from the president’s office almost at the same time with the governor however refused to speak to the State House Correspondents on why she was at the villa with Bindow.
She simply said: “I don’t want to be part.”
