Jonathan leads Common wealth observer mission to Tanzanian elections

The immediate past President Goodluck Jonathan has been named to lead a 33 nation common wealth observer mission to the Sunday October 23, 2015 general election in Tanzania.

The Tanzanian Ministry of foreign affairs and international cooperation made this known in Dares Salam in Tanzania.

According to the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Yahya Simba, former President Goodluck Jonathan will lead the common wealth observer mission and the former Mozambican President Armando Guebuza will lead the African Union (AU) observer mission. He said there will be observers from Africa, America, Asia and Europe and the Pacific.]]>
